Radiology Associates, P.A. in Arkansas Expands Agreement for Rad AI Omni
Little Rock, AR (August 5, 2022) -- Radiology Associates, P.A., a nationally recognized leader in innovative technologies, is expanding its partnership with Rad AI less than a year after its initial announcement. This expansion will provide access to Rad AI’s advanced technology to generate customized radiology report impressions to the entire practice, and builds on RAPA’s steadfast commitment to consistently being at the forefront of technological innovations throughout the state of Arkansas.
“We’ve been incredibly pleased with the partnership that has developed with Rad AI. As a CIO, your aim is to make investments in technology that make a tangible difference throughout the practice. Once the Rad AI Omni rollout began, the benefits spread 'word of mouth' style like a brushfire. The radiologists became the largest supporters of the product – touting the efficiency, quality and overall reduction in fatigue improvements amongst themselves. Expansion of the agreement was a no-brainer. I would strongly encourage any radiology practice CIO seeking an impactful AI investment to prioritize a relationship with Rad AI.”
-Jeff Wieler, CIO of Radiology Associates, P.A
Rad AI’s Omni solution automatically generates a customized radiology report impression from the findings and clinical indication dictated by the radiologist, using state-of-the-art neural networks. It learns each radiologist’s language preferences from their prior reports, to create an impression that the radiologist can simply review and finalize.
In addition, Rad AI improves report accuracy and consistency by automatically including significant incidental findings, helping to answer the main clinical question, and providing the latest consensus guideline recommendations for follow-up. The impression appears in the practice's voice recognition software as soon as the radiologist finishes dictating the findings, without any clicks, hotkeys, or new windows.
“RAPA is a wonderful partner and was the first in Arkansas to partner with Rad AI. As an innovative radiology practice, RAPA’s initial decision to partner with us was based on a desire to work with cutting-edge products and vendors that had the agility to develop for the future. We are proud to know we’ve exceeded their expectations and that they are now providing this technology to more of their radiologists.”
-Dr. Jeff Chang, ER radiologist and co-founder of Rad AI
